Democrats to announce the Maricopa County attorney
Gerald Richard, a Democrat from Phoenix, is to officially announce a race for the Maricopa County attorney next week.
Richard is the announcement Tuesday and is expected to discuss issues like immigration implementation and abuse of power by public funds.
County Attorney Andrew Thomas has not yet indicated whether it wants to re-election.
A former deputy prosecutor County followed in the context of links with crime, Richard was a legal adviser longstanding and administrator for Phoenix police. He also presided over the Supreme Court of Arizona Commission on Minorities to 12 years.
